Bill Flesch

Bill and his wife Therese moved to Pierre in 1999. Bill did maintenance at the United Methodist Church and helped at the funeral home part-time. Bill has recently retired from the church and is taking on more responsiblities at the funeral home. Born in Kentucky and finding his way to North Dakota with the Air Force, he served as a policeman in Minot, ND, before moving to Pierre.

Larry and Alice Venner

Alice began working for the funeral home shortly after her first husband's death. She helps with office work and funerals. She was born and raised in Pierre, and moved to Midland after marrying Dude Donovan. They moved to Pierre, and following his death, she continued to live in Pierre. Alice later married Larry Venner.

Larry started helping shortly after being married to Alice. Larry helps with funerals and other duties around the funeral home.

Gloria Merriam

Gloria was born and raised in Pierre. After graduating from high school she attended college in Huron and earned her secretarial degree. In 1974, she moved back to Pierre and was employed in the Pierre School System as an administrative assistant. Gloria retired from the school system and came to work at the funeral home in the fall of 2005.

Gloria and her husband Rick have two sons, two daughters-in-law, three grandsons and one granddaughter.

Gloria helps in the office and with funerals daily.
